Wondering if the benefits are big enough and if this is stable enough to actually consider implementing, or if its mostly a novelty for now.

I agree with you Lucas, it’s good to see tests and real data to see if it really is the best option, every company always has the best solution haha, it’s always good to do tests to prove it.

I didn’t notice any improvements, because I didn’t know about Brotli, now I’ll take some time to check it out. My hosted site is a Multisite, so it would be great if there was an improvement.

It’s really good to see real tests and data to see that this optimization option is better than the other. After all, generally the marketing of any hosting will say that it has the best possible option, even if others haven’t tested it. :)

Glad to know you are happy, Brotli should help reduce your page weight in GTmetrix and improve load times.

Thanks for your comment! Yes, indeed. Brotli offers better compression rates, which can lead to faster load times and reduced bandwidth usage.

The best thing is that we don’t need to do anything to join Brotli because it is already configured. I hope this can help us reduce the page weight in the gtmetrix measurement.

Who would’ve thought that one day we would be saying GZIP who? Brotli seems like a nice upgrade, and should it work as easily and seamlessly as GZIP did, we’re in for a treat!

Hi Keith,

It’s great to hear your enthusiasm about Brotli compression being available for all of the hosted sites.
No, you don’t necessarily need to turn off Brotli in Cloudflare to avoid conflicts. Both systems can handle the compression without direct issues.
