Thanks Patrick! Studio looks interesting, I’ve heard of it but never actually tried it out. Local works so well, it’s just a pain to have to manually export and import zips when it’s time to go live.

Will give it a proper try and see if that’ll work.

Hi JWebDev

You can have a look at Studio which is from WP. There is still a long way to go but at least full source code is available at Github. Another alternative is to have a Docker file with all the necessary components ( Nginx, PHP, Adminer etc ) and then use a new container for the sites.

Best Regards
Patrick Freitas

I just wish they weren’t bought out my wpengine, since now you can only use all the tools features if you host with them.

If anyone has any alternative suggestions to it that aren’t tied to a specific host that would be great

The minor release with 16 bug fixes in Core and the Block Editor has really helped stabilize my site. I didn’t encounter any major bugs, just some minor plugin issues that were quickly resolved with updates. It’s great to see that the update to 6.7 wasn’t unusually buggy, and I didn’t face the malware flagging or translation issues mentioned. The image distortion problem did pop up, but it was a quick fix. I definitely agree with testing updates locally first to avoid any surprises on live sites.
