WPMU DEV And WordCamps – Starting With WCUS 2018!

News & Community

We are headed to Nashville for WordCamp US 2018! Come say hello, meet Devman, grab some swag, win prizes and hear more about our top secret hosting project...(Oops. did I just say that out loud?).

WordCamp US 2019

When it comes to WordCamps, we are longtime listeners, first-time callers.

What I mean is that from early on, we have enjoyed attending and occasionally speaking at different camps around the world, but besides a few smaller exceptions, we’ve not really gone ‘all in’ on sponsoring.

That’s changing for us in a pretty big way later this week as a baker’s dozen of us are heading to Nashville to WordCamp US 2018!

We are honored to be ‘Platinum’ level sponsors alongside many other fantastic businesses in the WordPress community. We plan on continuing this into 2019 with WordCamp Phoenix, WordCamp EU, and more. If you have never been to a WordCamp before, we highly recommend keeping an eye out for one that is near you.

Will We See You There?

If you will be in Nashville for WCUS, please say hello. We’ll have a booth in the Sponsor Hall, and hopefully, our TEN FOOT tower of superheroes will make it easy to spot us.

Stop by for t-shirts, stickers, an invite to our social event (on Saturday night!), and much more. We have some pretty big news to share.

Plus, assuming he doesn’t get stopped by TSA or Customs and Immigration, we’re expecting our very own Devman to make an appearance as well!

Can this be real? Can this be happening?

And be on the lookout for Micah in a yellow ‘Hello WP’ shirt as he records audio for an episode of our new journalistic podcast series!

If Nashville is too far (or too cold at this time of year) for you to make it in person,  you can watch all of the sessions for free in a live stream. But you do need to get a ticket for the live stream here.

In Person Or Far Away

Those at the WordCamp or otherwise, you will want to follow us on Instagram and Twitter as we’ll be sure to share photos, thoughts from the sessions, and more.

And last but not least, Nashville is aptly named ‘Music City’, and we’ve curated a few of our favorite country and Tennesse-related songs in this Spotify playlist here to help get you in the right frame of mind. I’ll leave it to you to decide if the third song on the playlist was added as a commentary on the current state of Gutenberg and WordPress 5.0. :)

We hope to see many of you soon!
