Dear experts, the cookieyes banner (a third party plugin) is visible in the WP back end at the top.
Despite the presence of the buttons and the x to close it, it is not closable and always remains fixed and blocked, sometimes hiding other buttons under it.
The issue happens only in the backend when we are working with the WPMUDEV plugin:
[attachments are only viewable by logged-in members][attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]
If I’m on a different menu, I’m able to close your banner.
Using the developer tools I disabled the “float” option of the css cky-admin-notice and in this case the buttons on your banner works:
[attachments are only viewable by logged-in members][attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]
This problem is present on multiple websites with different themes.
I’ve opened a ticket with CookieYes and they suggested a workaround:
“have checked with our technical team, and they have provided a temporary workaround for this issue.
Please follow the steps below and change the value from float: left; to float: none !important;.
