I’m wondering if its possible to stop Branda’s SMTP feature from overriding the from email address when using a web form or will it always come thorugh as the email defined in the Sender email address field?
Thanks!

It gives me some idea of how this is working in general, as I have no clue about this issue in general and I feel a little bit “Lost in space”. Struggling for many days to make my system work and can´t find a proper solution. As I don´t want to use Gmail, my question is where I can find help to sort this out. Even the support teams of both providers couldn´t help me, because I don´t get it at all, technically spoken. So, what I can do?

Port 587 will *not* work for SSL.

Took me a while to figure out why my test email wouldn’t send after following the instructions here. Works now!

If you are on G Suite, follow “How to Allow Access to Less Secure Apps in G Suite”.
Then go to your OWN Google Account settings, myaccount.google.com/permissions, and allow for sending.
*If you have 2-step Verification enabled* on your Google Account, you’ll need to create an ‘app password’ for Branda. In the Branda outgoing mail username settings, put your Google Account username and the app password in. You can’t use your regular Google Account password, it must be a custom password for the ‘app’/Branda.

Mailgun has reduced the amount of email.
From their checkout page:

Why do we need a credit card for a free account? It helps us prevent spammers from signing up, which means better deliverability for you and everyone else. You won’t be charged unless you go beyond 5,000 emails each month.

I have configured WP Mail SMTP plugin for sending emails and I have 2 questions:
1. How can I change the ‘From Email’ field’s address within the plugin configuration? There is a note below the ‘From Mail’ field: ‘Gmail doesn’t allow to override From Email. Emails will be sent using the email address you used to setup the connection.’
2. I’ve created the contact form on my website using Forminator and I currently use WordPress to send the reply emails for that form. How can I configure Forminator to use Google API to send reply emails via my newly created WP Mail SMTP setup?

Thanks,
Ante
