Powerful WordPress Themes Designed to Grow Your Email List
Building an email list for your business isn't easy. All the more reason to use a WordPress designed for that task specifically then, right? This theme collection takes the guesswork out of lead generation.

One of the most essential parts of building a website for your business is making sure your potential customers have a way of getting (and keeping) in touch with you.
If they’re interested in what you’re selling, giving these prospects a way to sign up for a newsletter or added to your list is a good idea. This gives you a direct line to your customers’ inboxes. As you can imagine, this is a pretty big deal.
Even so, the idea of adding a signup form or lead capture form to your WordPress site might seem daunting, especially if you’ve never done it before. But fear not! This collection of WordPress themes is centered around one feature: their effectiveness in building your email list.
Some include call-to-action features and others that function more as “coming soon” sites. I’ve tried to put together an excellent mix to cover all your bases.
So, with that in mind, here’s a look at themes designed to grow your email list.
Touchdown
Sometimes to grow your list, all you need to do is offer a simple “coming soon” style page that offers a hint of what’s to come on your site and a convenient way to sign up for more information. Touchdown is such a theme that offers some seriously cool features. For instance, you can choose between a full-screen image background or a full-screen YouTube video background. You can also enjoy an animated content changer that includes delightful transition effects.
You can add three additional pages of content if you wish along with social media profile links, a Twitter feed, a newsletter subscription form, a jQuery countdown timer, and more. Touchdown is responsive and includes current typography selections and cross-browser support as well.
The current price for Touchdown is $49.
Launcher
Another good coming soon theme is Launcher. It’s designed to tell people when your new site is going to launch. That’s the primary function with a countdown clock and everything. But it can also be used to relay some important information about your business in the meantime.
This theme is responsive and includes Twitter integration so you can easily incorporate your Twitter feed directly on the page. You can integrate social media buttons for other sites as well and customize the look and feel of the page thanks to a theme options panel. You can use Launcher to build your readership as well thanks to a nifty subscription box and built-in email sign-up. Oh, and the rocket launch animation is pretty neat, too.
But the best part of Launcher? It’s free.
Time
Sticking with the countdown/coming soon trend, the Time theme is another great option you might want to consider. It offers a really sleek design and interfaces for your visitors and you have a choice between a full-screen image background or a full-screen YouTube video background. It also gives you the option to add three more pages and modify the layout to include three columns.
The countdown is powered by jQuery and there’s also an animated content changer and a real-time Twitter feed to further add to the interactivity here. Other features include a responsive design, social media integration, cross-browser support, a contact form with validation, and a newsletter subscription form.
Time is priced at $49.

Infoway
Infoway is another offering from Ink Themes that provides an excellent way to build your email list or newsletter signups with minimal fuss. It’s easy to set up and the lead capture form is featured prominently on the homepage so it’s going to attract the attention you want. The theme itself is highly versatile and can be used for generating sales leads, building a subscriber base, and more. What I like is that you can access your leads within the WordPress dashboard.
This theme is also really fast. It’s built to load fast and is search engine optimized to ensure you always have the best shot at converting. Other features include one-click installation, a notification bar for site announcements, a contact details area in the header, a product or service slider, a widgetized sidebar, 10 color styles, contact us and gallery page templates, a blog, full-width layouts, background images, a responsive design, a testimonials section, a feature area, a widgetized footer, social media icons, drop-down menus, and thorough documentation.
Basically, if a feature exists, this theme has it. Expect Infoway to set you back $97.
Dragness
Dragness is an easy-on-the-eyes business landing page theme that makes it easy to set up a new site with minimal effort. The design is responsive and very clean, which makes it a good choice for just about any industry. It’s highly customizable as well and comes with 6 custom colors and custom backgrounds.
This theme was created using the Spyropress Page Builder and was built on Bootstrap, so you know it’s reliable and highly functional. It also comes with pricing tables, Flexslider, an Ajax contact form, SEO, 115 icons, full documentation, and more.

Optimize Press
Optimize Press is another go-to landing page tool that many business owners are finding they can’t live without. This theme allows you to create landing pages and sales pages with just a few clicks without having to compromise on quality. It’s multipurpose as well and you can easily make download, squeeze, and membership pages, too. The theme itself comes with a plugin so you can adapt it for use with any other theme you want. Again, you don’t have to compromise on anything here, whether that means features or overall aesthetic.
Other features of Optimize Press include a drag-and-drop editor, a responsive design, over 30 templates, over 40 custom elements, and the ability to create membership signups, product launch, and sales funnels, and more. It’s basically a pretty handy tool to have in your online marketing toolbox.
You can get this theme/plugin combo starting at $99 to $199.
Nostalgia
The Nostalgia theme is meant to harken back to a bygone design era but it doesn’t beat you over the head with anything retro. Rather, it borrows color schemes and subtle design elements to create a minimal, fresh style that’s perfectly suited to adding interest to corporate or business sites. It’s a landing page theme so of course, has a prominent call-to-action form on the homepage. But that’s not all it presents front and center. This theme also includes a sliding gallery, an accordion features section, video previews, an isotope filtered gallery, a testimonials section, a contact form with a map, social media integration, and a newsletter signup form.
Other features include a responsive design, an admin panel loaded with customization options (logo, appearance, analytics, fonts, etc), page scheme options (colors, background opacity, headers, footers, padding and margins for pages, and so forth), a fullscreen slideshow with numerous transition and animation effects, a lightbox with overlay and position options, background audio, a Latest Tweets carousel, 19 shortcodes, 20 features icons, documentation, and more.
You can get Nostalgia for $39.
Landing Page
The aptly named Landing Page theme has a lot going for it. It’s multipurpose, for starters, and is great for showing off a product or service in style. But what I think I like best about this theme is how it comes across as very minimal yet offers a whole host of features and options that allow you to best display information about your company.
This theme comes with numerous portfolio features that make setting up your site a snap. It also comes with the WooCommerce plugin and offers homepage control thanks to 6 distinct homepage content areas that can feature several widgets each. Landing Page is responsive, includes multiple color options, a Portfolio custom post type, mega menus, WPML support, shortcodes, automatic updates, and more. And you can even add a regular blog to your site with no fuss.
Landing Page is available from $49 to $299.
Any of these themes are made for signing up and growing your email list. Hopefully, you can find the perfect option for your WordPress site.
Beyond themes, you can also use plugins, such as our very own Hustle and Forminator. Both of these plugins work for lead management and can be useful with any WordPress theme.
Whether it be a theme or a plugin, you have your options when creating a lead generation site.
