Yes!

Here I had a very positive experience in subcontracting two services and, instead of creating admin users for each site for the freelancer to access, just sharing access to the hub between the two sites that the person would actually use.

An example: the broken links report says that the site has x broken links, but it does not say which ones, requiring you to enter the site to see what is important in the report, which are the broken links.

I often see some information, such as from the security plugin, or from the function of analyzing broken links that end up only leading to the website itself.

for the problem above, I believe that a possible solution is to at least mark these users in the logs, for example: “John Doe via admin user” did such a thing, with John Doe being the name of the person in the hub, and “admin user” the admin user who performed SSO authentication

And there is also a problem for specific cases in which we share access with someone for the purpose of carrying out work on the website: we lose control of what the person did on the website, just as the records in the Defender log become as if we ourselves had done everything.

So it ends up being both a potential security problem, of the person accessing our master user on that website, and it can make functions such as the bland plugin useless when using the hub as a means of login.

The only problem I see is that when we share access with other people, whether from our own company, external or clients, they can log in with our WordPress user, even if the person even has their own admin user on the site.

Ainda sinto um pouco de falta de acesso ao suporte ser um pouco mais barato, seria ótimo se fosse mais acessível.

This flexibility allows us to collaborate with team members, clients, and collaborators efficiently. The ability to assign multiple roles to unlimited users is a significant advantage. Even if they aren’t WPMU DEV members, we can customize their access levels precisely as needed. Setting up users and roles takes just a few clicks. From inviting new team members to defining their access permissions, the process is streamlined and efficient. The Hub Client feature allows us to create a white-labeled Hub for our clients and collaborators, complete with our branding. Plus, it’s all free!

Limited Modules for Custom Client Roles: While custom client roles are possible, not all modules are available for customization. Some limitations exist in terms of available features.
No Backend Access via Hub Credentials: Team members and clients do not have access to the wp-admin area or the backend of connected websites through their Hub credentials. This limitation ensures security but might be restrictive for some users.

Thank you for sharing this informative and helpful article. Your insights into managing users and roles using The Hub are invaluable. As a reader, I appreciate the clarity and practical guidance you’ve provided. Keep up the great work!
