What builder does WPMU DEV use? I think a lot of the enthusiastic supporters here would love to know what’s ticking under the hood here (aside from the proprietary components).

I use Elementor Pro. I tried the “Improved Asset Loading” feature. It made a gave me a big improvement in page speed metrics. BUT two Elementor widgets stopped working. So I sadly had to disable it.

The widgets are Image Carousel and Testimonial Carousel.

As always thanks for sharing this blog on optimization – ever since joining wpmudev I’ve been able to constantly expand and improve my knowledge in the segment of WordPress!

Personally a big fan of WPBakery, so have to promote this section “https://wpmudev.com/blog/optimize-page-builders/#wpbakery” :)

But great info for beginners on understanding how to optimize to ensure responsiveness and enhancing speed optimization, do agree with a process that should be applied to all sites in a similar manner. Will definitely use this blog! :)
